I'm Joe, and I've decided to start a review blog of some of the gadgets I own. You'll see reviews for cameras, camcorders, iPhone and Mac gear, baby and kid stuff and plenty more accessories of all kinds. I also plan to post some video reviews as well. Please leave comments and let me know how this is going. I think most of my reviews will be positive since I do so much research before I buy, but I will always give my honest opinion in the hopes it may help some of you out there. I won't "grade" the reviews since I can't compare several cameras to each other, for example, but I will let you know if I like it and if I recommend it. I will also try to let you know if I've upgraded from an older product (going from a Canon Powershot G6 to a Rebel XTi, for example), or if it's brand new to me.
One caveat. I tend, over the years to prefer some brands over others when I buy products or start my research. Some of the more well-known names I'm partial to are Canon, Apple, Panasonic, Onkyo, Griffin, Logitech and JBL. Some of the manufacturers I tend to steer clear from (for whatever reason) include Bose, Toshiba, Sony and Microsoft.
